Sailor costume ideas abound this year. You can go traditional, wear the white bell-bottom pants, white v-neck pull over, and black bandanna around your neck, or maybe you want to spruce your sailor costume up and go for a Captain uniform.
Navy Sailor costume ideas come in all ranks, so why not go as Captain. White pants, with a white button down oversized shirt. Make sure you have brass looking buttons, and add your strips to your shoulders. Captains wear a hat, which has a black base and a white top. A Captain needs to include the rank on the hat, easy enough pull up an image on the computer, print on paper or fabric and attach to the hat.
For the man why not choose a Black Navy Sailor Costume. This one is easy to make at home or buy if you would rather get it done quickly. First, find a loose pair of black pants that are boot cut. Next, add a v-neck black pull over made of nylon or light material. Pull a black scarf or bandanna around your neck and tie in a square knot. If you can find a bandanna with white stripes that would work well, if not simply sew some white ribbon around the edge of the bandana making three stripes. Finally, add your navy sailor cap and shined black rubber soled shoes and you are all set to go.
Yes, you can choose the traditional male costume, but have you considered the Navy women’s sailor costume. Women are just as sexy in uniform as men are, so why not step out on your Captains arm in a sailor costume.
Start your navy uniform off with something in white or blue. Make sure to show off your cleavage with a plunging neckline. A short sexy dress, with brass buttons, and strips around the neckline will get your sailor costume started. Another choice for women wanting to wear a sailor costumes to choose a clinging halter dress in navy and white. Tie a red bow around the neck area and you will be a high-ranking navy sailor in no time flat.
To finish off your sailor costume make sure your wear blue, red, or white heels. Some costumes will warrant wearing thigh high stockings or maybe thigh high boots. If you choose stockings don’t be afraid to step out and change the color of your heels from white to navy or red. Finally, everyone must have a cap or Captain’s hat.
If the little ones are going out with you Halloween, they can dress in Navy sailor costumes as well. For the toddler girl a striped blue under a white smock dress gets her started for trick-or-treating. Add red bows around the bottom of the smock dress add some white stockings and white shoes and she is ready to go out in style.
If you want to have some fun this Halloween season why not dress up as Popeye the Sailor Man. This fun costume is a great couples outfit. You can protect Olive Oil form your nemesis Brutus and save the day or Party!
I think sailor costumes are a great idea for fancy dress. Everyone loves a uniform! It definitely gives you sex appeal.

I personally think Navy Sailor costumes are a great idea because my brother is in the Navy. His uniform is always attracting the women. And he is always getting so many compliments on how great looking he is in his navy outfit.

Those are some pretty sweet uniforms available. They’ll probably lead to lots of compliments and maybe even a salute.
Hey – just wanted to mention that these costumes are great – I particularly like the sexyness of the two womens costumes above – makes a great change from the well overused sexy nurse costumes or cheerleader costumes I see every year!

These are great sailor costumes and it’s a good theme for couples and groups. The ladies are always attracted to sailors but looking at the lady sailors, they will have the boys flocking!
I love a girl in uniform especially the one with the captains hat.

The choice of costumes available is mind blowing but when you want to dress up on Halloween as a couple it takes a bit more thought. But dressing up as a sailor or a sailor girl is a great choice for a couple costume idea. Smart & sexy, and you will stand out in any crowd. For the kids sailor costumes are just great fun as well. Halloween is a fantastic holiday so have a good time what ever your costume turns out to be!

A sailor, that is something I didnt really think about for Halloween, but what better costume than a Navy Sailor for either guys or girls. It is a very sexy option for both, it is always a good idea to dress up in something that are going to have people of the opposite sex checking you out!!!

While I have never been in the Navy, my brother is, and he has never mentioned the fact that women’s Navy uniforms look like this at all. I used to think he was a little dumb for signing up for a tour of duty, but now I’m not so sure…
